Feliz Holidays...assuming Cinco de Mayo is on your official list of days to celebrate. It's not really on mine, I just like saying Cinco de Mayo (insert cute accent and flourish of the hand).
I've spent this week listening to the signs from above that it time to start the Great Agent Search for Ellie. I've been inspired by the success of my friend Kristen, who has started shopping around her new book and gotten a tremendous response (yippee Kristen). Then I found out about the Evil Editor, who has been critiquing query letters. Yes, I've spent a fair amout of time reading the whole blog because it is so darn funny.
My little Frog Kisser continues to chug along. I want to do some speaking engagements for book clubs, so if you're in one or know of one...well, you know what to do. Check out the new web site for the book too.

My friend, Karmela, and her success in the agent hunt is what got me back out there querying away. I can't wait to hear your news as it comes in. The whole process is so darn nerve-wracking and exciting all at the same time.
Susan, I am holding you personally responsible for the loss in productivity that has resulted from my reading of the "Evil Editor" blog. It's both hilarious and addictive. I've lost at least a couple hours' work as a result of reading and re-reading the posts and sending the URL to other writer/editor friends. Thanks ... for nothing!!!
