I'm Back!

Vacations are a fabulous thing. I spent my vacation this year in Bar Harbor, Maine, which means my vacation was fabulous to the tenth power. I hiked, biked, lounged by the lake, drank coffee, sailed (sort of), and ate lobster. The weather was perfect and the company was fantastic. Yes, I'd go back and relive that vacation in a heartbeat.

What I didn't do was write. At all. Never even turned on my computer. Come to think of it, I didn't do much reading either. There was simply no time. I did sell a few books, and that was exciting. That's always exciting.

So, now I'm back home and getting back into the groove. I'm still trying to figure out what my next project is. I'm feeling a little stuck on that, but am confident inspiration will strike at some point. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...

Book Sales

People have been asking me how my Froggie book is selling, so I thought I'd dedicate this weeks' post to the subject. The short answer is sales are okay.

What does that mean? Well, I don't know exactly how many books I've sold because it takes about 90 days for Ingrams to report sales. So, anything sold through Amazon or a bookstore will take a while to show up in my records.

I'd say the total books sold to date is somewhere around 250...good for a self published book. I'd like that number to be closer to 1,000. However, I've taken the summer off from actively promoting it, so it's no wonder sales have gotten kind of stagnant! Cause and effect.

So...if you'd like to help me bump up those numbers, I won't say no! I'd love, love, love to talk to more book clubs. I'd love, love, love to sign a bunch of copies for you to give to your friends and family.

Meanwhile, I'm looking into that sequel for Sam. Who knows what will happen next for her, and for me.
